Naloxone Wakes You Up

Project Description

We created a video that trains youth how to recognize and respond to an overdose for the BC Centre for Disease Control's Take Home Naloxone program. We also worked with Inner City Youth to put together an art booklet based on a research project with street-involved youth in Vancouver who were asked about their experience with the program. Some of their meaningful comments are featured alongside illustrations by youth artists. Since these projects overlapped, we were able to work the youths' material into the video as well. Read a blog post for more details.

Give Something Big

Project Description

After a successful Take Back the Day tribute card campaign for Mother's Day, Inter Pares returned to us for the Christmas holiday season and we again managed the development and marketing of Give Something Big and its French counterpart, Emballez-vous! These campaigns featured 30-second video PSAs and a Flash-based “Do-It-Yourself” engine so donors could create their own animated, musical e-cards. We also held promotional online contests to spread awareness.

Circle of Life. Circle of Love.

Take Back the Day

Project Description

In 2008, we created a Mother’s Day tribute card campaign for Inter Pares. Take Back the Day tied into the activist origins of the holiday to support women around the world working for change. We designed the website, holiday cards and animated video, and handled the promotion via online advertising, social media and email campaigns.

In 2019, we adapted the video from its Flash-developed origins to a contemporary format, and added new material. The campaign site is now over but Inter Pares continues to support Mother's Day donations in the spirit of the original holiday.

Naloxone Saves Lives Videos

Project Description

Employing our signature documentary approach, we created videos about BC's Take Home Naloxone program that highlight the importance of the overdose reversing medication, and also trains both adults and youth in its use. The adult version, Naloxone Saves Lives, is featured above. Naloxone Wakes You Up is targeted to youth.
